Natural Nail File $1.95

This nail file is actually a fish scale from the Pirarucu fish, the second largest freshwater fish in the world. It lives in the Amazon river in South America where it grows to a size of 6 to 12 feet long and may weigh hundreds of pounds. It is a basic food fish for indigenous peoples, so nothing goes to waste. Comes with an info sheet and no, it doesn't smell fishy.

There are three different surfaces on the nailfile: a waxen texture on the inside of the curve, a horn like surface on about one third of the outside curve and a magnificently fine abrasive surface on the remaining two thirds of the outer curve.  This is the nail file surface.  Use it as you would an emery board.  It's finer, and unlike the emery board will not easily break in your purse or pocket.  The horn like surface can be used to remove calluses just like a pumice stone.  The narrow end can be used to push back cuticles.  Sizes vary from 1" to 2".
